After years of living in rentals as a busy professional, I learned to grow some food using container gardens or other creative growing methods. What started as a hobby to eat my own organic food as much as possible, has now become an enduring philosophy to eat well every night of the week at home.
I love to cook, and I know how to throw down a mean
home-cooked fresh meal that everyone loves to eat!
I also like flames. Whether as a child running around
in the forest tasked with starting the fire (don't come back
until happy hour and the coals are 3 feet deep)- or a week
in the desert cooking multiple courses and full meals on nothing but stone, sand and wood for the week- I love it.
Combining the ideas of Victory Gardens along with the modern global movement toward sustainable and self-reliant food supplementation, I know I might always have to
"roll bounce" outta here - but I will be able to take my
hard work, food and impromptu suppers with me. Wouldn't
hurt to take a backpack full of brisket and spices, either.
